Horse camp is the ideal setting to learn and discover all things horses!
Campers are partnered with a horse and assigned to a lesson group based on their incoming skill level and will saddle their own horse, help care for their horse and learn all about horse health in addition to riding lessons.
More experienced riders will be challenged through the week with pre-jumping skills, some gymnastic exercises and leg yielding.
Each day, each group will have the opportunity to ride in the morning for approximately 30-45 minutes after spending time grooming and tacking up horses.
In addition to riding and working with the horses, campers will have the opportunity to do archery, kayaking, hiking, field games, crafts and get wet with water games. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week a chance to make S’mores. The week ends with “Tye-Dye Friday” for a take-home memory of the week at camp.
