Greenwell Foundation’s Horse Experiences give you a chance to interact with and/or ride a horse within our arena. They offer something for everyone! These fun and inclusive activities are perfect for a first-time rider, a small party or a group!
- Ages 5 and up for on-the-ground activities and riding in the arena.
- Ages 7 and up for trail rides.
- There is a 200 lb per person weight limit for riding.
- Experienced and well-trained staff members.
- Experienced horses and all equipment are provided.
- Closed-toed shoes are required. Open-toed shoes and Crocs are not permitted.
- Helmets are required for all riding activities and are available for use. You may bring your own ASTM-SEI approved helmet. Bicycle helmets are not allowed.

All Horse Experiences must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. Payment is immediately due upon the receipt of the invoice. The activity will be canceled if payment isn’t been received by Greenwell Foundation within 24 hours.
One Time Ride in the arena: Try riding a horse in the arena with an instructor!
- Must be at least 5 years old
- $60.00 per person
Group Ride in the arena (up to 2 hours): Perfect for small groups such as birthday parties and Scout groups!
- Must be 5 years old
- There is a 200 lb per person weight limit
- Bring your own snacks or party supplies and use our picnic tables behind the barn!
Small Group (up to 4 riders): $225
Large Group (up to 8 riders): $450
