Field Trips

Nature Connection // PreK – First Grade

These field trips are designed to nurture the curiosity that young learners already have and direct it toward a love of outdoor exploration and learning about trees! We engage senses, movement, and music to help students learn new vocabulary, identify and categorize, ask questions, form hypotheses, and – dear to our hearts – build a relationship with nature and learning.

Youth Team Building // Middle & High School

These field trips are designed for middle and high school students to promote team building and cooperation. We encourage students to be patient with themselves and others as they try new activities, and we aim to make trying new things enjoyable. Each trip features both large and small group activities centered around puzzles, riddles, and obstacle courses. We will spend some time in the woods with mindful intention, explore one of Greenwell’s beaches, and enjoy a favorite activity: a connection session with the horse.

Home School // PreK – 12

This program offers an engaging way to learn about the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Participants will explore the local flora and fauna, understand the human impact on the environment, and discover ways to reduce their environmental footprint. Through hands-on activities like using nets and water quality equipment, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for this diverse ecosystem. Let us cater to your needs!

We can accommodate groups of up to 20 participants. We offer half-day and full-day options for these programs.
