Nature Explorers Camp

Nature Explorers camp fosters nature connection with opportunities to, hike, craft, crab or fish, play, and discover the beauty of Greenwell. Each week, campers will hike their favorite trail to visit their favorite spots. Free time will be allotted, allowing the campers to let their imagination and interests drive their play while in the outdoors. Each week there is a chance to make S’mores.  The week ends with “Tie-Dye Friday” for a take-home memory of the week at camp. Nature Explorers Camp is for children ages 6 (who have completed kindergarten) –12 (by first day of camp session) PM Extended Care and Drop-In Extended Care is available.

PACKING LIST – Every day, each camper should come to camp with the following:

Lunch and refillable water bottle

Morning snack

One complete change of clothes

Water shoes, bathing suit, and towel

Hat – Sunscreen and bug spray (spray sunscreen is highly recommended)

On Friday: an item to tie-dye (white t-shirt, socks, hat, pillow case)

Pants*

Heeled boots*

Closed-toed shoes for when not riding* (in addition to water shoes)

* Required for horse camps only

All items brought to camp, including lunch and water bottle, should be labeled with your child’s name. All gear should be stowed in a bag with their name on it.

 OPEN-TOED SHOES ARE NOT ALLOWED, NO FLIP FLOPS!
