Open Barn
A Maryland Horse Discovery Center Program

 

Greenwell Foundation opens our barn to the public on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Please join us to learn about our multiple programs, including riding lessons, driving lessons and camp. Meet and greet all of our animals including the horses, goats, sheep and cats!

Riding lessons are conducted form 9:00 am. to 12:00 p.m., which you are welcome to watch and learn more about. Our Equestrian Director, Jenn Emmart, is also on site to answer any questions you may have.

This free family event is a great time to take your holiday photo with our horses, meet our goats, and enjoy the beauty of Greenwell State Park.
