Ages: 18 and up

Greenwell Foundation provides environmental education and outdoor opportunities to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers. With the support of our experienced instructors they learn about, explore, and become stewards of the local environment and their Chesapeake Watershed home! We explore S.T.E.A.M. topics using presentations, discussions, interactive materials, crafts and provide links to information for further learning. 

Our Watershed Heroes are adults who have aged out of the school system. They are most often served by local partners with agencies that provide supported; housing, employment and day activities. Sessions are 1 to 1 1/2 hour long, in-person (as a group) or virtually from their homes or centers.
